Updating bios file not found

I want to update the Bios of a Probook 640 G2, Win 7 Pro 64. sp4ts.oid=8430732&sw Item Id=ob_163103_1&sw Env Oid=405... Downloaded the SP74154 file, ran it, when asked restarted the laptop: the result I got after starting up: "The system could not find one of the BIOS Update binary files.

Can you also reboot the computer, keep press F1 for System Information.

Once it opens, please copy/paste all the information here, especially product number, motherboars info and ROM version or something similar - whatever is there...

Hi, I was following one of the most popular suggestion on this forum about updating the BIOS to v227 or later versions but Asus Live update is not showing those version while visiting the official Asus' drivers page I found that v227 and v303 are actually available. WIFI driver 5. I get 8-12 hrs use per charge using SLEEP mode.

So my questions are, why live update is not pushing those?

and how can I update BIOS downloading the file directly from the Asus' drivers page?

As stated I have a GA-P55A-UD3 mobo that has been randomly shutting down once a day.So Ive tried the usual hardware testing( memory, harddrive, windows 7..etc) and last resort is updated Bios.I have the orginal F4 version and would like to update to F9 version, Loaded the newest bios on a flash drive and went through Q-flash.When prompted on the q-flash ultiltity screen it doesnt show my flash drive only floppy drive.I know my flash drive works but how do i get it to show up?Flash drive is supposed to show up as HD 1-0, any suggestions?
