Advice about age difference when dating no strings dating site
Plentyoffish dating forums are a place to meet singles and get dating advice or share dating experiences etc. I guess to each his own..he knows what he would be comfortable with.
I passed this information to him, expecting he'd ask her out. The nine years might be creepy at say.....16 or 17 and 25 or 26. I find, having been a single mom since my early 20s, that now that I'm in my early 30s, I don't have much in common with 20-somethings and so choose not to date them.
He thought about it for awhile but finally decided against it because he felt the age difference was too much. Some people use the formula of 1/2 your age plus 7 years to determine appropriateness.
In your friends' case, 1/2 of 32=16 7=23 as the youngest acceptable.
Ultimately though, it doesn't matter whatever formula/reason someone has for dating or who tells them it's okay, if THEY aren't comfortable with a large age difference, than nothing else matters.
That would be close to the extreme edge in my dating range of 10 years younger.
So I would not jump at the chance.could be different tastes in everything from music to life trajectory.could be quite a chasm to cross 32 he may want to be settling down, yet at 23 she may not even be thinking about that yet.i believe age appropriatness is not the number of years between 2 people but rather their maturity level!
i've known plenty of people in their early 20's who are very serious and goal oriented, and i've met people in their 50's who act like they are silly teenagers!
Is that all, when I was 23 I was in relationship with man 39, then 45, I dont think I was interested in guys my own age, and rightly so as the ones I knew,my bros mates too they were out drinking non stop and puking, and had different girls every week, funnny but not really drawn to them much, it can work I dunno, I would leave it up to him - after all, its *his choice* isn't it? I mean, at 32 he could be more looking to 'settle down' into something more serious, and if she comes across (to him) as somewhat immature and he doesn't think it'd work out (ie, a "waste of time" for him), that's his choice. I dunno, I don't know either of them so it would be impossible to say from the information given. They've been together for more than a year now, and are very happy.
Relationships are about a lot more than age y'know. Another's friends parents have a 10 year age gap, and have been married for over 20 years with several kids.Tags: Adult Dating, affair dating, sex dating
